Papa Ge

This picture was inspired by a musical called 'Once on this Island' a Caribean version of 'The Little Mermaid' (not the Disney version). It's about a peasent girl, Timoune who falls in love with a French descended hotel owner's son. Papa Ge is the god of Death who wagers with the other gods that Death is stronger than Love.
